ELRC fall conference

The 1998 Eastern Lands Resources Council fall conference is set for September 13-16 at the Sheraton Atlantic Beach Resort in North Carolina. The conference theme is "Where the Land Meets the Water."

Topics at the fall conference include public lands acquisitions, state lands and management, coastal management and state parks management. Forestry management of the shoreline BMPs, North Carolina wildlife management and public trust developments will also be discussed.

Plans for field trips and other activities are in the works. It's a great time of year for outdoor activities such as swimming, fishing and just being on the beach.
